In order to thank the guests who came to your wedding, wedding guest favors are given during the reception. Back in olden times the best wedding favors one could get was sugar cubes. Brides and grooms did not have a hard time deciding on what to give because there was only once choice. For those who could not meet the high price, no gifts were given.
