Before we can go into the effectiveness of diabetes testing, we must understand what diabetes is. Diabetes is our body’s way of providing growth and energy. The foods we eat get broken down into glucose, which our body uses as fuel. Glucose enters our bloodstream where it is then utilized for growth and energy. The pancreas produces a hormone called insulin. In order for our cells to use glucose, our blood requires the insulin.

Many a times our parents and grandparents talk about a serious issue at our home which is known as ‘diabetes’. But does any one of us seem to be really interested in the topic. Diabetes develops when the body is not able to produce insulin the right way. Hence, there may be too little insulin in the body to regulate the blood sugar level or if the insulin is in the body, it might not have been used effectively thereby leading to diabetes. These two cases fall under two types of diabetes. Type 1 diabetes may occur when there is no or too little insulin in the body that is the first case and type 2 diabetes may occur when the insulin of the body is not used effectively as in second case. Diabetes is taking the shape of grave disease with change in time. Near about to seven percentage of population in United States currently suffers from the disease. Most of these cases lie under type 2 diabetes.

a. See your Physician: Visit your Doctor right away if you suffer injury. Describe to your physician the intensity and location of your pain in an open and honest manner. Disclose all previous injuries that may be relevant because the Doctor will need to know this information for proper treatment. Your physician likely will ask many questions that you don’t have an answer for, and it is fine to say that you don’t know. You should never guess and give potentially false information. Of utmost importance, follow your Doctor’s recommendations and advice.

Many people around the world are aware that diabetes is just related with sugar. When the sugar level increase, human beings develop diabetes. Is this information ample? NO. This is all what people may know of diabetes. But the truth is far behind this. Body needs glucose but sometimes, this glucose becomes unable to process the sugar that it takes from the food that we eat. That is the stage when we, human beings develop diabetes since the body is left unable to process sugar with efficiency. If a person may know the symptoms of diabetes then he can cure himself in the initial stages of the disease by getting proper treatment and can also avoid serious complications. The disease may well be avoided with proper diet and regular exercise.

Diabetes is the most common disease now-a-days. It is widespread in people across all age-groups, be it a child of 12 years of age or an old man of 80 years. It is caused due to the lack of a hormone called Insulin. Insulin is secreted by some cells located in the pancreas in the body. The food that we eat is broken down to a sugar called Glucose, which provides energy to our body. Insulin helps to move Glucose into the cells of the body. If Insulin is not secreted by the body, than the Glucose is unable to move into the cells. And thereby, the Glucose content or the Sugar content increases in the body, leading to a disease called Diabetes. There are two categories of people suffering from diabetes- 1. People with Type-1 Diabetes whose body is unable to produce Insulin, and thereby increasing blood Sugar levels. 2. People with Type-2 Diabetes whose body can secrete Insulin, but the cells in their body do not respond to the Insulin.
