Some family members will choose to purchase a casket from a casket maker. However, it has to be stressed that the reason behind is not to save money. In fact, the main reason behind is that it will be possible for the family members to order a unique casket for the deceased. For example, some special ornaments on the casket can be requested.
Yet the options of adding some custom made ornaments on the casket will make the casket a bit more expensive. If budget is not allowed, the option of getting a casket from the funeral home will be preferred.
In most cases, it will be very important for every family members, as well as the people who are helping to plan the funeral, to make the final decision together on the casket to be chosen. Of course this is due to the importance of it.
