Tips To Make Your Orlando Vacation More Enjoyable
I can recommend all of the theme parks as an Orlando vacation devotee, but were you aware that the area is full of other excellent visitor attractions? There are enough museums, markets, shops, art galleries and more in Orlando to keep the most ‘hard to please’ person busy. Whilst a vacation here has been popular for many years now, the reason to visit continues to grow as the number of facilities and attractions increases.
Orlando is a welcoming place that offers people a wide choice of clubs, shopping malls, bars and clubs. It is easy to stay occupied on an Orlando vacation at anytime of the year so only a few of the lesser know visitor attractions are mentioned here.
The Central Florida Zoological Park zoo is home to more than 400 animals and one of the biggest reasons to visit. The zoo has a charity status and is dedicated to the preservation of all exotic animals, including those that are only found in Florida.
For anyone that appreciates the work of Louis Comfort Tiffany then a large collection of his works is exhibited the Museum of American Art, where it has been housed since the early 1940’s. This is the place to visit for Tiffany art lover’s with the largest display anywhere in the world, including paintings, jewelry, pottery, glass and ornaments.
Not chiefly created for children’s amusement Orlando is certainly a city for all ages since adult attractions and family attractions are just about equal in numbers. There is an abundance of night life when you vacation in Orlando with a wide range of restaurants, bars, street entertainment and clubs.
The Orlando Science Center is another of the major attractions and its four-story center is the biggest of its kind in the Southeast; offering 10 exhibit halls that allow visitors everything from the Florida swamplands to the dry plains of Mars. If your preference is in railways then the International Trolley and Train Museum on International drive will be a pleasant surprise with 14 trains running continuously and three waterfalls in a space of about 4,000 square feet.
Home to the Titanic Exhibition on International Drive the Mercado Center is the where you are treated like you are ACTUALLY traveling onboard the Titanic; this is a really eerie experience and includes original objects from the Titanic. In the heart of downtown away from all the business is the Lake Eola Park. Over forty acres of beautiful sidewalks where you can spend a few hours of peace.
Of course without visiting at least one theme park how could anyone possibly visit Orlando? For those of you who are unsure of which to visit then take heart because there are four theme parks in Disney. Universal has its own theme park versions including Sea world. Since an Orlando vacation has everything you won’t be short of things to do! In fact you may need a week off to recover in a resort that has good weather all year round and never closes.
