Nissan - The Japanese Sports Car
The Nissan 350 Z is a sports car manufactured in Japan by the Nissan Motor Co. The 350 Z is the current generation of Nissan’s Z-car line, originally introduced in 1969 as the Datsun 240 Z. It is currently available in several trim packages and is sold as both a two-door coup and roadster.
The Nissan 350 Z is power-driven by a 3.5 lt. V6 engine that is can develop 306 hp. and 268 lb.-ft. of torque with its dual inlet air-intake system, a variable exhaust cam timing and a high compression quotient. The engine can be tuned up to redline at 7500 rpm. A 5 Speed Auto Transmission or a 6 speed Close Ratio Manual Transmission transmits the power produced smoothly to the large 19″ rear wheels. Acceleration is fast with the Z capable of picking up the pace from zero to sixty mph in just 5.5 secs.
The interior is a tad surprising. The soft leather seats and all the areas that were tangible were perfectly finished and looked as if they were for an expensive sports car. The steering wheel looks somewhat bulky but it suffices. Being a two seater, it has no back seat but comes with ample cargo space. The vehicle, unexpectedly, even has a couple of cupholders. Being a sports car, not much emphasis has been given to the entertainment part of the vehicle but enough is available to make long journeys sound.

The 350 Z performs just as equally well on city/ highway roads as it does on a race track, making it both a fast and a practical car as well. On the race track with its elevation changes, sharp turns and short straight-aways, and the 350Z executed its maneuvers flawlessly. On the road, the automobile handles more or less perfectly and gives a comfortable carefree driving pleasure.
The mandatory dual-stage front airbags are available in all models, but active head restraints and electronic stability control are not available on all models except as optional add-ons. Electronic Stability Control System is standard on the more pricey Touring and Grand Touring models. Tire Pressure Monitoring System is typical equipment on all models.
The Nissan 350 Z Keychains are available in just three varieties: the Teardrop, the Valet and the Steering Wheel. They are simple in design but just as racy as the cars that theu represent.x`
